Ballet SunMi is pleased to be offering our Summer Camp again this year! Summer Camp weeks begin June 16th, with a special theme each week! The themes and weeks are:
- Week 1 - Carnival: June 16th - June 20th
- Week 2 - Carnival: June 23rd - June 27th
- Week 3 - Magical Worlds: July 14th - July 18th
- Week 4 - Magical Worlds: July 21st - July 25th
- Week 5 - Mythical Creatures: August 4th - August 8th
Students can sign up for one week at a time. Summer camp runs from 9 AM - 3 PM each day, with aftercare available from 3:00 - 5:30 PM.
Our summer camp days are filled with a variety of activities so your child will never be bored! Here is a sample schedule:
Sample Day:
9-9:30 am: Check in and Fable/Folktale Story
9:30-10:45 am: Ballet Class
10:45- 10:55 am: Snack
10:55-11:10 am: Stretch
11:10-11:30 am: Contemporary/Jazz/Hip-Hop
11:30-11:55 am: Learn a Dance
12-1 pm: Lunch and Outside Play
1-2 pm: Sets and Prop Making
2-3 pm: Story Creating and Rehearsing
Kids receive about 4 hours of dance and art instruction per day. We provide all craft and prop making supplies.
We also go to the Rail Park for lunch & outside play every day.
This year we welcome a special guest instructor, Wren Lanza, student at the Moore College of Art & Design.
Wren will head our Arts & Crafts program, focusing on set and prop making!
